Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) invites applications from Indian Nationals for recruitment position of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) holding B1 Category Licence as per the qualification and to maintain a waitlist for future requirements, on Fixed Term Employment basis for certification of Air India Ltd and its Subsidiary Company aircraft / Third Party Airline aircraft / Other aircraft related works in MRO, as required. The selected candidates may be posted in any station/region of the Company depending upon requirement of AIESL. The last date for submission of applications is 20th September 2017.

Eligibility (As on 1st August 2017): Must possess DGCA Licence to certify. In category B1 to cover A321/A320/A319 Aircraft fitted with IAE V2500 Engine or CFM 56-5B Engine. Candidates having qualification an A320 NEO aircraft with leap Engine will be given preference.

Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL) will recruit on contract Indian Nationals for recruitment of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers for Trivandrum/ Mumbai and various Line stations of AIESL, depending upon the requirement of AIESL and to maintain a waitlist. The recruitment will be on a fixed term contract for a period of five years subject to extension for further period based on Company’s requirement basis for servicing, inspection, certification and other related Engineering activities on B737-800NG aircrafts fitted with CFM56-7B Engines.

Educational Qualifications: (as on 01/09/2017)

Aircraft Technician -> AME Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from Institutions approved by DGCA under Rule 133 B with 60% marks/ equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates). Candidates from DGCA Approved AME Training Institute as per current list are who eligible (Or) For Ex-servicemen Successful completion of Group 1 related equivalent qualification of Diploma in Engineering for Airframe/ Engine/ Electrical/ Instrument/ Radio trades conducted by the Indian Air-force, which are acceptable as qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination. (Or) Successful Completion of 4 years course I Diploma in Aircraft/ Electrical/ Instrument/ Radio Artificer training, conducted by Indian Navy, which are acceptable as qualification by DGCA for fulfilling the eligibility requirement for BAMEL examination. (Or) Diploma in Engineering (3 Years) in Technical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering or equivalent recognized by Central/State Government with 60% marks/equivalent grade ( 55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Skilled Trades -> ITI in painting / Upholstery, issued by Govt. of India or KGTE / KGCE, issued by state Govt. with minimum 3 years work experience post-qualification, in painting/ Upholstery trades in any reputed Organisation.

Selection Process: Walk-In Interview followed by Trade Test and Pre-employment Medical Examination.

Interested candidates are required to walk-in to the venue on the date(s) and time as indicated along with the duly filled in Application form, in the prescribed format with all the requisite documents along with non-refundable application fee of ₹ 1000/- by means of A/c Payee Demand Draft in favour of “Air India Engineering Services Limited” payable at Delhi.
